Our naturalist guides are skilled, knowledgeable, and dedicated to what they do. Each of our guides knows the park's wolf packs and where they reside. With palpable passion, our guide culture is one of reverence, wonder and awe for a wild Yellowstone.
Additional Guide Service Information
Year-round outings originate near the north entrance of the park at Gardiner, Montana (or a nearby location upon arrangement) where we meet groups in the early morning. From dawn to mid-day, we access many habitats from the road and view a variety of wildlife. Depending upon guests' interests, we can include short nature hikes in spectacular locations. Guides come ready with top-of-the-line spotting scopes for everyone, and serve a continental breakfast with a variety of quality food, snacks, and hot and cold beverages.
Wolves and many other animals, being shy of humans, are often viewed from a distance. Photographs of wolves are rarely won, though serious photographers have been pleased with the variety of scenic and wildlife images captured during our outings.
To reserve a date, we ask for full payment up front. The fee is refundable minus a $45 booking fee up to 14 days from the date of the program, and non-refundable within 14 days. We accept checks by mail, or major credit cards at our secure transactions web page (please inquire for date availability first).
