Yellowstone Adventures

bulletEducational Adventures   The Yellowstone Association Institute provides an instructor/guide to accompany small groups for a personal introduction to Yellowstone and one of your best chances to see wolves in the park.  Instructors are expert naturalists that will meet you at a predetermined location and join you in your vehicle for half, whole or multiple days viewing wildlife.  The program cost includes instruction, use of spotting scopes, and park admission fees for the day of the educational adventure.

Winter Wolf Discovery   The Yellowstone Association Institute and Yellowstone National Park Lodges offer  participants in the Winter Wolf Discovery program the best of both worlds. During the day, they explore the park, looking for wolves with Yellowstone Institute instructor. Each night, they return to excellent meals, comfortable accommodations, and entertaining evening programs at the Mammoth Hot Springs hotel.  Three-day packages start in January, 2001, and include:

bulletGrizzly Discovery Center a not-for-profit bear and wolf reserve providing visitors to the Yellowstone area an opportunity to learn about, view and ultimately appreciate the grizzly bear and gray wolf.   Grizzly bears that are unable to live in the wild have a second chance.  By helping with the education of visitors, their lives may help other bears remain in the wild.

bulletYellowstone Ecosystem Studies is a privately funded, independent, non-profit, research and education organization committed to long-term, large-scale projects that provide the critical information to protect, manage, and sustain a healthy Yellowstone for all species, including humans. Only then can we begin to listen to, and speak for, an ecosystem.

bulletWilderness Pack Trips, Inc.  offer spectacular horseback trips in Yellowstone National Park.  Pack trips are 6-day expeditions, July through September, to some of Yellowstone's most scenic wilderness sites.  Trips afford great opportunities to view wolves and other wildlife in a backcountry setting.  For information contact Mike and Erin Thompson.
