Enjoy the use of a high
quality spotting scope on your next visit to Yellowstone. The scope
has become the preferred tool for wildlife watching as it creates a great
intimacy with the animals without disturbing their natural behavior.
Often wolves, bears, and other elusive wildlife are found at considerable distances
and only can be viewed and enjoyed with the aid of a quality spotting
scope!
The Wild Side, LLC, offer top-of-the-line 82mm NIKON spotting scope rentals to
greatly enhance your wildlife viewing. Each scope is equipped with a Bogen
extendible tripod with a pan head and all-weather case. Our Nikon Fieldscopes feature an 82mm lens for exceptional light gathering capability, ED
(extra density) glass for crisp image quality, and an angled eye-piece
that requires minimum height adjustments in groups with people of
different heights. The scope also features a versatile 35X-75X zoom
eyepiece, the highest magnification available among field scopes on the
market.

| Agreement/Policies
The
renter understands and agrees to enter into the following lease terms
with THE WILD SIDE, LLC:
- Disclaimer The rented equipment remains the exclusive property of THE WILD
SIDE, LLC. The renter
has no rights or claims to the equipment. THE WILD SIDE, LLC,
reserves the right to correct information in the rental agreement.
Availability is subject to change without notice.
- Rental
period is for the duration of the calendar days specified in the
agreement. Scope pick up is by arrangement only. The
equipment must be returned on the last day of the rental period.
If rental return is arranged by shipping all outgoing and return
shipping costs will be paid by the renter. Shipping costs
must be insured, unless other shipping specifications are made.
- Late
returns will be charged for each additional day at twice (2X)
the rental fee. The renter agrees that fees will be charged to the
credit card on record. In the event the rental is not returned one
week after the date due, the equipment will be considered stolen
and the renter’s credit card will be charged for the full retail
amount of the equipment’s rental. If the overdue charges are
denied by the renter’s credit card, the following actions may be
taken:
- The
account will be turned over to a collections agency, which
immediately results in the addition of attorney’s and
collection fees. These fees can not be waived and the collection
process will continue until the fees are collected.
- Interstate
theft charges are filed and a bench warrant obtained once the
account is 30 days overdue.
- Damage
or loss of the
equipment during the rental period is entirely the renter’s
responsibility. If the renter has not notified THE WILD SIDE, LLC,
of damage within 1 hour of receiving the equipment, both parties
agree the equipment was received in good working order.
- In
the event of loss of the equipment, renter agrees to pay the
replacement cost.
- In
the event of damage to the equipment, the renter agrees to pay
replacement costs.
- Our
acceptance of equipment on return is not a waiver by us of any
claims for damage to the equipment.
- Liability – The renter assumes all liability that may arise from misuse of
the equipment. The
renter indemnifies THE WILD SIDE, LLC, against any liability or
claims resulting from misuse.
- Default – If the renter fails to meet any obligation under this
agreement, THE WILD SIDE, LLC, has full right to take immediate
possession of the equipment; to make charges to the renter’s
credit card for the replacement value of the equipment; to pursue
any legal remedies; and to sue to recover any lost equity or
income. In the event of litigation to recover damages, renter is
held responsible for all court costs and legal fees incurred by
THE WILD SIDE, LLC. The location for any legal proceedings
will be
Bozeman, Montana, under the laws of the state of
Montana. This represents the
entire agreement between these two parties. If any portion of this
agreement is found unenforceable, it will not affect the remainder
of the agreement, which shall remain valid.
- Cancellations
- A full refund minus $14 processing fee will be given for all
cancellations more than 7 days before the rental period.
For cancellations less than 7 days prior to rental period, the fee is
non-refundable.
